LHI Receives Certificate of Appreciation from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

Let’s Help International (LHI) is proud to announce that we have received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in recognition of our partnership and contribution to the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) during the 2025 tax-filing season.

From January 1 to April 30, 2025, through the dedication and teamwork of our volunteers and staff, LHI supported the successful delivery of the CVITP, which helped more than 784,650 individuals across Canada file their taxes and receive the benefits and credits they are entitled to.

This milestone demonstrates LHI’s ongoing commitment to empowering individuals and families with modest incomes, newcomers, and vulnerable community members by ensuring equitable access to essential financial services.

The Certificate, signed by The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, and The Honourable Wayne Long, Secretary of State (Canada Revenue Agency and Financial Institutions), recognizes LHI’s valuable role in strengthening communities and promoting financial inclusion across Canada.

“Your desire to support those in need serves as a model of inspiration to others and a testament to the strength of our communities across Canada.”
Melissa Chung, CVITP and Benefits Outreach Officer, CRA

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Canada Revenue Agency, our volunteers, and our partners for their trust, collaboration, and continued commitment to making a difference.

Together, we are building stronger, more inclusive communities—one family at a time.
